Sign in to your dashboard and tap "Disable card" — the chip stops opening your profile, so whoever picks it up gets a dead end. Order a replacement, and your existing profile re-links to the new card. No contacts lost, no profile lost.
Any iPhone XS or newer (released late 2018), and almost every Android made in the last six years. If a phone's NFC is off or unsupported, the printed QR code on the card does the exact same thing — same profile opens.
That's the whole point. Bio, photos, contact details, even your job title — edit them in the dashboard and the next person to tap your card sees the new version. You never reprint a card to update a phone number.

An R29 card is a plastic chip with a URL written to it — that's it. There's no profile, no dashboard, no analytics, no wallet pass, no short link, and the URL points at a generic landing page you don't control. R299 is the card plus a year of hosted profile, your own URL, an editable dashboard, tap analytics, a Wallet pass, and our support if something breaks. The chip is the cheap part.
Email and phone are encrypted at rest using AES-256. We're POPIA-aligned and don't sell or share any of your profile data with third parties. Delete your profile from the dashboard and we erase it from the live database — no backup recoveries, no "soft delete". See Terms for the full retention policy.
365 days from card activation. We email a reminder thirty days before that runs out. After 365 days the profile is archived for security and POPIA hygiene reasons (Condition 5 / Section 14) — the physical card is still yours, you can re-activate at any time. Full clause is in the Terms, section 8.
You'd get at least thirty days' notice and the option to export everything on your profile (contacts, gallery, settings) as a single download. The card itself is yours regardless — it's a physical object. We'd hand over enough so a competitor or your own developer could keep your URL running.
No. R299 is once-off for the card and the first year of profile hosting. After 365 days the profile archives unless you re-activate (see above). There's no monthly subscription, no per-tap fee, no surprise renewal billing.
